Jack London is a famous American realist writer. Since the publication of his masterpiece Martin Eden, many critics have interpreted this semi-autobiographical novel from different perspectives. This article attempts to interpret this work from the perspective of the famous neo-historicism in the subversion and containment of opposites. This article aims to show that despite the obvious disruptive effect in “Martin Eden”, Jack London can not be separated from the mainstream consciousness Morphological writers, or invisible, have played a role of safeguarding and propagating what they attack.
