Women played a very important role in the development of library and information services and their professional education in the United States. Without their dedication and creativity, the library and information science profession in the United States can not reach the current level. In the early days of the founding of the United States, the majority of librarians were men. They had kept all kinds of archival materials extremely elaborately, but they did not systematically record and preserve their achievements in this field. Since the 19th century, more and more women have entered the field of library and information services, but this situation remains unchanged. Women have made great contributions to the development of Library and Information Science and many other aspects. Even the most prominent part of it has not been documented in the history of library and information. Despite some exceptions, the archives of the life and achievements of many prominent library and information scholars have not been established or preserved. Fortunately, the common efforts of the past two decades have been famous
