艺术设计在探索解决科学和技术的进步给社会所提出新的课题的同时,也对艺术设计教育的发展提出了新的要求。运动装设计是以满足用户的需求为出发点,融合人体运动生理、运动装的纺织技术、运动装板型的开发和运动装的款式设计等诸多相关联的因素针对运动装的审美与功能而进行的设计实践。本文介绍和分析了以模块形式完成教学任务的实验性课程——运动装设计课程的教学特点、流程和教学效果。这个在国内首次开设的运动装设计课程借鉴了英国设计学院运动装设计教学课程的结构,并结合自身的教学条件和学生特点在运动装设计教学上进行了深入的探索和尝试。
