It has been suggested that platelets may play an important role in the production and formation of rheumatoid arthritis. In patients with plasma and synovial fluid, serotonin ((?) - HT) conversion rate also changed. 5-HT is thought to increase the deposition of immune complexes and therefore may have an effect on the inflammatory process. Another report suggested that patients with rheumatoid arthritis improved in clinical symptoms of hunger, and arthritis increased when certain foods were taken. The authors investigated the possibility of platelet release of 5-HT in patients with rheumatoid arthritis when ingesting intolerable food. Seven patients with rheumatoid arthritis showed signs of arthritis 1 to 4 hours after ingestion of intolerable food and continued for up to 18 hours. Before feeding, the patient group and the control group were in platelet-rich plasma
