Objective: To investigate the effect of different feeding methods on baby physical development. Methods: A total of 361 newborn infants born vaginally were observed. According to their birth weight, they were divided into three groups: small gestational age (SGA), gestational age (AGA) and large gestational age (LGA) The height and weight at 1, 4, 6 and 12 months after birth were followed up to calculate the body mass index (BMI). According to different feeding methods, the physical development of breastfeeding and artificially feeding babies at different times were evaluated. Results: In the AGA and LGA groups, the BMI values at different months of artificial feeding in infants were significantly higher than those in breast fed infants and beyond the normal reference values. Although the BMI values of sows fed with AGA and LGA groups were higher than those fed breast-fed infants, only 12 The difference was statistically significant in the month. Conclusion: Different feeding methods have significant effects on the physical development of infants. Breastfeeding children tend to be more physical well-proportioned, while those who are fed artificial infants have more obesity.
