本文用多元统计分析方法,研究多个数量性状的表现型变量与基因型变量的相关关系,提出了典范性状及其遗传力的概念。第一典范性状是测量性状的所有线性组合中具有最大遗传力的线性组合,第i典范性状则是与前面i-1个典范性状不相关的那些性状的线性组合中具有最大遗传力的线性组合。在实际问题中,只须取少数典范性状进行研究就能充分利用试验所提供的信息。提出了估计典范性状及其遗传力的方法,並讨论了典范性状在遗传育种研究中应用的可能性。
In this paper, we use multivariate statistical analysis to study the correlation between phenotypic variables and genotype variables of multiple quantitative traits, and put forward the concept of canonical traits and their heritability. The first canonical trait is the linear combination with the greatest heritability among all the linear combinations of measured traits and the ith canonical trait is the linear combination with the largest heritability among the linear combinations of those traits unrelated to the preceding i-1 canonical traits . In practical problems, the information provided by the experiment can be fully utilized only by taking a few exemplary traits. The methods of estimating the classical traits and their heritability are proposed, and the possibility of applying the canonical traits to the research of genetics and breeding is discussed.
