Objective To analyze the relationship between brain injury and abnormal rate of electrocardiogram in patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods A total of 161 hospitalized traumatic brain injury patients were selected in the same period of time. The abnormality rate of electrocardiogram in patients with different degree of injury and part of brain injury were compared, and the recovery of electrocardiogram abnormalities was analyzed. Results A total of 83 cases of ECG abnormalities (51.55%), with a variety of arrhythmia, T wave and ST segment changes, the most common left ventricular high voltage. Glasgow score lower, more brain injury and brain stem injury, ECG abnormalities increased significantly. As the condition improved, the number of ECG abnormalities decreased, but severe damage and ECG recovery of brain stems were slower and worse. Conclusion Brain trauma can cause abnormal electrocardiogram. The incidence of traumatic brain injury is positively correlated with the severity of traumatic brain injury.
