本研究是在发现蛋氨酸可破坏兔动脉之后,观察胱氨酸对兔动脉的影响。用37只兔(实验组22只,对照组15只),喂相同的饲料,实验组加喂胱氨酸。喂药前后测血胆固醇及甘油三酯,其含量之变化无意义。喂三个半月杀兔取其主动脉和心室制片镜检:实验组主动脉的中膜破坏严重;冠状动脉肌支的内膜纤维组织增生较多。所有病变处,硫酸粘多糖均增多,其原因与脂质无关,可能由于胱氨酸中的硫在机体内转变成“活性硫酸”增多所致。
This study was to observe the effect of cystine on rabbit arteries after finding that methionine can damage rabbit arteries. Thirty-seven rabbits (22 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group) were fed the same feed and the experimental group was fed with cystine. Blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels were measured before and after the administration of the drug. The change in the content was not significant. Three and a half months to kill the rabbits to take the aorta and ventricular microscope examination: the experimental group of aortic medial destruction; the coronary muscle branch of the intimal fibrous tissue proliferation. In all lesions, the amount of sulfated glycosaminoglycans was increased. The reason was not related to lipids, which may be due to the increase of sulfur in cystine into “active sulfuric acid” in the body.
