To observe the head and neck vascular imaging of Chinese experimental miniature pig (CEMP) and to explore its application. Methods CEMP head and neck angiography, analysis of the image and compared with the human image. Results Pig without internal carotid artery extracranial segment, replaced by pharyngeal ascending artery, the latter in the cavernous sinus resembles the formation of human cerebral arteriovenous malformations, and the bilateral mesh anastomosis of the microvascular network (ReM), and then converged into the main Intracranial internal carotid artery. Inferred intracranial segment of the main artery to the cervical cord blood supply. The occipital artery supplies blood to the upper cervical and posterior fossa. Pharyngeal ascending, vertebral and occipital artery between the side branch anastomosis. The subclavian artery has a neck branch similar to humans. Conclusions CEMP is a good model for brain and spinal vascular disease research and interventional physician training.
