Objective To investigate the correlation between white blood cell count and its classification and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods A total of 35 GDM cases (GDM group) and 70 normal pregnant women (control group) were enrolled in the study. The fasting insulin (FINS) and white blood cell count Pre-pregnancy pregnancy weight, height, analysis of white blood cell count and its classification and GDM correlation. Results The leukocyte count, neutrophil count, lymphocyte count and basophil count in GDM group were higher than those in control group. Pearson correlation analysis showed that FINS and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) There was a positive correlation between leukocyte count, neutrophil count, lymphocyte count and basophil count. Conclusion GDM is closely related to white blood cell count and its classification of white blood cell count, neutrophil count, lymphocyte count and basophil count. These factors may serve as one of the basic predictors of GDM.
