汽车发动机噪声在某种程度上可抵消。4缸发动机总是具有较低的交流声频率,虽然发动机支架不紧固在很大程度上能阻隔振动,但由于行车驾驶易造成恶果,所以不能加以使用。对此,德国大众汽车公司在其试验的Futura轿车上采用电子噪声对消的方法。 为了降低发动机的噪声,大众公司在Futura轿车上采用低音往复式扬声器产生辅助声场,其声波具有汽车发动机噪声相同的频率和振幅,但相位正好相反。当两声波交会时,它们就通过干涉进行相互抵消。
Automotive engine noise can be offset to some extent. The 4-cylinder engine always has a low hum frequency.
