本文运用一个上下游模型,分析零售商买方势力对上游供应商产品创新动机、企业利润、消费者剩余与社会福利的影响。可以得出如下结论:第一,零售商买方势力的增强会打击供应商产品创新的积极性。第二,零售商凭借买方势力压榨了上游的利润,但是其自身的利润并不必然增加。第三,买方势力的增强提高了消费者剩余;且如果拥有买方势力的零售商是内资企业,那么买方势力的增强会改善社会福利;如果拥有买方势力的零售商是外资企业,那么买方势力的增强既可能改善也可能损害社会福利。
This article uses an upstream and downstream model to analyze the impact of retailer buyer forces on upstream suppliers’ product innovation motivation, corporate profits, consumer surplus and social welfare. The following conclusions can be drawn: First, the increase of buyer power in retailers will dampen the enthusiasm of suppliers in product innovation. Second, retailers squeeze upstream profits with buyer power, but their own profits do not necessarily increase. Third, stronger buyer power increases consumer surplus; and if the retailer with buyer power is a domestic-funded enterprise, the increase in buyer power will improve social welfare; if the retailer with buyer power is a foreign-funded enterprise, the buyer power Enhancing can both improve and undermine social welfare.
