温室白粉虱是为害温室蔬菜的主要害虫之一。它取食的植物种类较多,主要是蔬菜、瓜类、烟草、花卉。在温室和保护地中,受害最重的依次为番茄、瓜类、茄子和豆类。温室白粉虱以成、若虫群集在叶背吸食植物汁液,使叶片退绿、变黄、萎蔫,植株衰弱,甚至枯死,严重影响作物的生长发育。危害时,成若虫还分泌大量蜜露,污染叶片和果实,引起霉菌病(煤污病)的发生,造成减产并降低商品价值。此外,它还是某些病毒病的传播媒介。温室白粉虱体小而纤弱,体长约1～3毫米,翅展2～3毫米,虫体及翅面上常有蜡质粉状物覆盖。
Greenhouse whitefly is one of the major pests that damage greenhouse vegetables. It takes more plants, mainly vegetables, melons, tobacco, flowers.
