美国被称为“汽车轮子上的国家”,真是名副其实,我在美国1年多的时间里尝够了没有车的苦头,所以,我下定决心要自己买一辆车,并学会开车。由此,我成了明尼阿波利斯大学100多位公派访问学者和研究生中第一个“吃螃蟹”的人。 为了学开车并拿到驾驶执照,首先必须通过笔试,取得学开车的资格。我花了整整两天的时间把“驾驶须知”(这种小册子在各个交通管理站均可免费索取)认认真真学习了一遍。内容包括与交通有关的法律、规定,各种交通标识、行车须知,以及雨、雪天驾驶
The United States is called “the country on the wheel of a car.” It is a veritable fact. I spent enough time in the United States for more than a year without suffering from a car. Therefore, I was determined to buy a car myself and learn to drive. As a result, I became the first “crab” of the more than 100 public sector visiting scholars and graduate students at the University of Minneapolis. In order to learn to drive and get a driver’s license, we must first pass a written test to obtain the qualifications to drive. It took me two full days to read “Driving Instructions”, which is available free of charge at all traffic control stations. Including traffic-related laws and regulations, various traffic signs, driving instructions, and rain, snow driving
