[Objective] To investigate the changes of immune function and its potential metastasis in patients with bladder cancer. [Methods] The changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets and CD44 in patients with bladder cancer were detected by flow cytometry and correlated. [Results] Compared with normal controls, bladder cancer patients showed decreased CD3 and CD4, decreased NK cells, and elevated CD8, CD25 and CD44, which were all the more significant with the increase of tumor invasion and tumor grade The results showed that there was a positive correlation between CD25 and CD4, CD4 / CD8 (r = 0.287,0.306, P <0.05 respectively) and CD56 negatively correlated with CD8 (r = -0.523, P <0.05) The prognostic indicators. [Conclusion] Combined detection of peripheral blood lymphocyte phenotypes and CD44 levels in patients with bladder cancer can provide useful reference for judging the tumor staging, grading, metastatic potential and clinical decision-making
