Dongfang Shuo, Western Han Dynasty Emperor Wudi, his people funny and clever, learned a lot of text. He is different from the traditional literati. He has the legacy of the Warring States curse and another kind of ridicule. His story spreads widely and has far-reaching impact. The story of Dongfang Shuo is often presented as an allusion in literati and poetry. It can be said that there is a great relationship between the literary tradition and the worship of Dongfang Shuo. Analyzing this point can better accomplish the cultural interpretation of Dongfang Shuo’s story.
