一般的液压制动器,都是靠弹簧力制动,油压松闸。由于要求有足够的制动力,所以弹簧尺寸大,使得制动器体积也较大。日本DR6565型采煤机采用了英国(登录普专刊)生产的新型液压端面制动器。它的工作原理如图所示,当蓄能器1进口油压失压后,蓄能器内的弹簧把贮存的机械能传递给主油缸2,主油缸再把机械能转变为液压能,输出一定的高压油给制动油缸4,把制动活塞压向制动盘5,产生了制动力矩。
