After studying the composition, palaeontology and structural structure of the sediments in the 430 East Pacific Basin and the paleomagnetic and uranium series, the sediments were classified, named and stratified and their ages were determined. The study shows that the sediments from bottom to top are zeolite-bearing clay, deep-sea clay, siliceous clay and calcareous clay, respectively. There are four depositional discontinuities in this column, of which there is a polymetallic nodule layer about 10 cm thick near the layer of 325 cm, which is the sedimentary discontinuity of the Middle Miocene to the late Pliocene, which is prevalent in the C C region , Long duration, wide distribution. This indicates that the current of Antarctic bottom flow is very strong at this time and it has a significant impact on the deposition of C C area in the eastern Pacific Ocean and the formation and development of polymetallic nodules.
