Toni Morrison’s description of the encounter with the black girl Pecola in the Bluest Eye reveals the status quo and process of black human nature being distorted and esthetic alienation under the erosion of white cultural colonialism and condemned Colonialism, and pointed out that only by keeping their traditional culture, can blacks realize the profound truth of self-worth.
