闽南漳州岩画是很有名的,华安仙字潭岩画早在1915年岭南大学黄仲琴教授就作过考察,为我国近代考察岩画之始①。建国后,福建省文物考古工作者又多次前往考察~②。但考察的范围仅限于仙字潭一地,并认为石刻的性质是古文字~③。1978年4月,为了摸清仙字潭石刻的性质及其分布情况,我们除复查了仙字潭石刻外,又考察了华安县的草仔山、石门坑、石井、蕉林、官畲, South Fujian Zhangzhou rock art is very famous, Hua Anxianzitan rock art as early as 1915, Professor Huang Zhongqin Lingnan University made an inspection for the modern inspection of rock paintings in the beginning ①.
