目前高职高专英语教学面临着转型的巨大挑战,很多院校相继出现缩减课时的现象,国家在政策上也引导地方高校向应用型转变,那么要发挥英语在就业中的优势,提高英语应用技能,高职高专英语教学自EGP向EOP转化势在必行。两者在教学目的、教学内容及教学方法上都存在很大差异,对教师提出了更高的要求。EOP教学针对不同专业的学生选取不同的教材,并结合其专业性质,学习英语,进而达到运用英语的目的。EOP符合高职院校以培养技能型人才为目标的教学理念。
At present, English teaching in higher vocational colleges faces the huge challenge of transformation. Many colleges and universities have successively reduced the number of class hours. In the policy, the state also guides the transformation of local colleges and universities to applicative ones. Then, we should make full use of English advantages in employment and improve English application Skills, Higher Vocational English Teaching from EGP to EOP conversion is imperative. Both in the teaching purposes, teaching content and teaching methods are very different, put forward higher requirements for teachers. EOP teaching for different professional students to choose different textbooks, combined with their professional nature, learning English, and thus achieve the purpose of using English. EOP is in line with the teaching philosophy of higher vocational colleges aimed at cultivating skilled talents.
