氨茶碱有直接舒张支气管平滑肌的作用,从而缓解或解除支气管哮喘,疗效确切,是目前临床最常用的平喘药物之一。但氨茶碱有效治疗浓度较小(5~20μg/ml),个体差异大,当血药浓度低时,不能有效缓解哮喘,血药浓度过高时又可出现心律失常、抽搐等严重毒性反应。因此对哮喘患者给药个体化、最佳化,开展氨茶碱血药浓度监测工作势在必行。
