Known response can cause congenital birth defects in children (short limbs or limbs), there are also reports of tocolytic drugs, oral contraceptives, pyridoxine hydrochloride and alcohol related. The authors found that the incidence of congenital limb defects in the agricultural community in the United States increased 2 to 10 times higher than normal. This situation may be related to parents engaged in agricultural work or living in agricultural areas. To determine this relationship, the authors selected a case-control study of birth records from 1982, 1983, and 1984 in California. 237 cases of limb defects, a random selection control group of 475 people, compare the occupation of two groups of parents and living counties. After adjusting for confounding factors in multivariate analysis, it is estimated that the relative risk of limb defects in infants engaged in agricultural work
