葡萄糖耐量试验,是测定醣代谢是否正常的有效方法之一。普通的试验方法,是令禁食病人服100克葡萄糖後,於半小时、一小时、两小时、三小时各抽血一次,测定每次血糖含量,以观察其耐糖曲线之形状。爱克斯托恩(Exton)氏和瑞欧斯(Rose)氏创一小时两剂糖试验法。此法之优点,不仅能缩短试验时间,简化操作手续,并且对于糖尿病的诊断具有特殊的意义。原理:病人服第一剂葡萄糖後,血糖浓度升高,反射性促使胰岛素大量分泌。因而服第二剂葡萄糖後,血糖浓度不仅不继续增高,反而逐渐降低。糖尿病患者,由於胰岛素分泌障碍,所以於服用第二剂葡萄糖後,血糖浓度继续上升。藉
