Everything children do has ideas, do not disrupt them easily, but understand why they do it. In 1876, the first kindergarten in Japan, the kindergarten attached to the Tokyo Girls’ Normal School, was established. In 1945, it was merged with a special institution for childcare and education to set up a nursery school. Together with the kindergarten, it formed Japan’s unique pre-school education system.
