1989年至1991年,根据衡农S-1及其杂交后代的育性性质与育性分离比例,对衡农S-1的育性转换动态和育性遗传行为进行了研究.衡农S-1在一年中的育性转换动态是:可育→部分可育部分不育→不育→部分不育部分可育→可育。衡农S-1有两个育性转换期,其稳定不育期从7月中旬至8月底.衡农S-1的育性主要受—对隐性基因控制,但母本效应在不同组合之间也不同程度地存在。衡农S-1与W6154S的育性基因是两对非等位基因,并且这两对非等位基因间存在互补作用。
