鉴频器又称频率检波器。其作用是用来检出输入调频波中频率随调制信号变化的规律,从而实现了频率-电压的变换。在电子设备中常用的有斜率鉴频器、相位鉴频器、比例鉴频器等几种形式。就其性能而言,斜率鉴频器要减小非线性失真,要求电路严格对称,同时还要具有最佳的电路参数(主要指耦合回路的品质因数和失谐量),从而使制作和调试十分困难,所以只实用于对性能指标要求较低的场合。相位鉴频器和比例鉴频器都是利用频-相转换来实现鉴频的,有着相同的鉴频特性
