Objective To investigate the chromosomal terminal adhesions of peripheral blood lymphocytes in radiation workers. Methods Peripheral blood lymphocytes were harvested from 610 radiologists. Cells were harvested at 72 h. The cells were routinely prepared and counted under the microscope. One hundred cleaved cells were counted in each patient. Chromosome ending adhesions were also recorded. Results 415 chromosomal terminal adhesions, accounting for 68% of the number of subjects (415/610), accounting for 0.68% (415/61 000) of the cells examined. Conclusions Chromosome end adhesions, chromosome damage by the telomere caused by the loss of broken.
