欲想求得准确优美的地形图,不仅在于外业施测的好坏,测图板本身的质量也有非常重要的关系。过去我厅多以图纸直接测图,纵横收缩常达到3公厘左右,因而测图质量很难达到预期的标准。学习苏联规范后,改图纸为图板,质量就有了提高。图板有两种:一为铝板,一为三合板或五合板。铝板的成本较高,不易买到,并且较重,不易携带;五合板虽不易翘曲变形,但木板太厚,使用不便,因而我们采用了三合板。我们第一次裱糊是在五四年冬季雇佣裱糊工人作的,结果很坏。后来经过多次试验,在五六年春季又进行了第二次裱糊。这次是我们自己动手做的,效果很好。共作了175张,其中因凉板不及时而返工者14张,不够清洁,进行返工的20余张。这批测图板经外业使用后,检查质量均称良好。现将其裱糊的过程及注意事项介绍于后,以供参考。
In order to obtain accurate and beautiful topographic maps, not only is the quality of field testing, the quality of the test board itself has a very important relationship. The vertical and horizontal shrinkage often reached about 3mm, so the quality of the test chart could hardly reach the expected standard. The high cost of aluminum, not easy to buy, and heavier, not easy to carry; although difficult to warp deformation of plywood, but the board is too thick, inconvenient to use, so we used the plywood. Our first paper-fixing job was done by hiring workers who plastered paper in the winter of May or so. The result was very bad. Later, after many tests, a second paperback was carried out in the spring of May-June. This is our own hands, the effect is very good. A total of 175 sheets were made, of which 14 were reworked due to the cold plate being not timely and not clean enough for more than 20 rework.
