In human tumors, retinoblastoma, colon polyposis, nephroblastoma, and neurofibromatosis have obvious genetic predispositions, but genetic factors of most other common malignant tumors are still being explored. To understand the clinical and pathological features of family history of colorectal cancer, we analyzed 106 cases of family history of cancer, rectal cancer, and compared with no family history of cases of colorectal cancer. Materials and Methods Between September 1963 and February 1988, there were 2,057 pathologically confirmed cases of rectal cancer in the hospitalized cases, including 106 cases of family history of cancer (5.15%).
