The coherent state of the excitons of the semiconductor GaAs is induced by the two beams, and the photoconductance signal of the liquid nitrogen temperature sample is recorded as the delay between two pulses changes. Experimental and theoretical analysis results show that this method can directly reflect the decay of free induction of coherent states for a two-level system with uniform broadening. The density matrix equation of the even broadening two-level system is solved. The experimental results show that the decoherence time of the carrier coherent state T2 = 115 f
