矿用带式输送机的发展方向是高速度、大运量、大功率、长距离,由此导致电机在启动过程中的瞬时电流过大,对线路的冲击大、电压降增加,从而造成电机启动困难,甚至出现无法启动的现象。同时,直接启动情况下,负载设备的速度发生突变,加速度过大,致使输送带松边的张紧装置出现滞后现象,功率传递不平衡,无法实现平稳启动。针对以上不足,采用磁流变液实现矿用带式输送机的软启动,控制设备启动的加速度,实现矿用带式输送机平稳增速,达到软启动的目标。
