1、把棉籽放在侯格朗(Hoagland)氏营养溶液中,使之在温热的夏季温室内发芽生长,在30天内每5天测定一次棉株生长情况及矿物质累积情况。结果指出:5天幼龄的种苗(在第4天出土),其干物重与籽粒干物重没有差别(显然是在发芽过程中由于呼吸作用而损失的干物重,已在第3天中借光合作用而得到补足);镁的含量亦无变化;但是氮、钾、鈣、则有大量累积;而磷含量则有减少。在这以后的棉花生活周期内,其矿物组织成分
1. Cottonseed is placed in Hoagland’s nutrient solution to germinate in a warm summer greenhouse. Cotton growth and mineral accumulation are measured every 5 days for 30 days.
