与初、高中英语教学不同,大学英语授课有其特殊性:一个教师往往要面对几百个学生,这对英语教师如何有效地进行知识传授是一个考验;另外,英语在学生心中的性质和地位也发生了变化,由高考科目“下降”为选修科目,学生的重视程度不够,因而,学习的积极性也不会很高。情景教学法就成为提高学生兴趣的方法或手段。本文通过对情景教学法在大学英语中的应用的探讨以及相应的教学策略,来阐释如何提高大学英语教学的质量,以激发大学生对英语学习的兴趣和积极性。
Different from junior high school and senior high school English teaching, college English teaching has its peculiarities: a teacher often has to face hundreds of students, which is a test for how English teachers can effectively impart knowledge. In addition, the nature of English in students’ hearts and Position has also changed from the entrance exam “drop ” for the elective subjects, the degree of attention of students is not enough, therefore, the enthusiasm for learning is not very high. Situational teaching method has become a way to improve student interest or means. This article explains how to improve the quality of college English teaching by exploring the application of situational teaching in college English and corresponding teaching strategies so as to arouse the interest and enthusiasm of college students in English learning.
