Tracheotomy is an effective first aid technique to ensure the smooth airway and save lives. Our department from 2005-05-2011-05 total tracheotomy 152 cases, are analyzed as follows. 1 Clinical data The group of male 128 cases, 24 females, aged 9 to 86 years, mean 47 years, with a tube of time 16h ~ 186d. Severe craniocerebral injury in 113 cases, multiple multiple fractures and pulmonary contusion in 30 cases, 9 cases of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage.
