In this study, the chemical composition and osmotic pressure of cultured American brown trout and Japanese eel seminal plasma were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) and gas-phase osmometry. The results show that Na +, K + are the main ions in the seminal plasma, which may play an important role in maintaining seminal plasma osmotic pressure and sperm motility. Artificial breeding American brown trout compared with Japanese eel, the seminal plasma ion content of the indicators except K content higher (P <0.01), the other indicators were no significant differences. The two kinds of fish in this experiment compared with other kinds of sea freshwater fish, and all kinds of ions content were higher. The osmotic pressure value of the American rainbow trout serous was similar to that of other fish, both maintained at the level of 300 mOsm / kg.
