Objective To observe the distribution or expression of IL-1β gene polymorphism and Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection in gastric cancer, and to explore the influence of the interaction between the two on the occurrence of gastric cancer so as to provide a theoretical basis for the early prevention and treatment of gastric cancer. Methods Eighty gastric cancer patients from January 2009 to June 2014 were selected as the gastric cancer group and 60 healthy subjects from the same period as the control group. The distribution of IL-1β gene polymorphism and Hp infection in the two groups were detected ; Using SPSS20.0 statistical software for analysis. Results The positive rate of Hp infection was 73.9% in gastric cancer group and 36.1% in control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The genotype C / C accounted for 10.0% of gastric cancer group and control group 28.3%, C / T accounted for 53.8% and 53.3% respectively in the two groups, T / T was 36.2% and 18.4% in both groups, and the distribution of the three genotypes in the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). The distributions of the three genotypes in gastric cancer group and control group were 8.8%, 51.3%, 39.9% and 26.7%, 56.7% and 16.6%, respectively There was statistical significance (P <0.05). Conclusion The distribution of IL-1B gene polymorphism is different between gastric cancer patients and healthy individuals. T / T genotype has the highest risk of gastric cancer, while C / C genotype has the lowest risk of gastric cancer. In addition, Hp infection is associated with IL -lB gene polymorphism between the interaction, together to promote the occurrence of gastric cancer.
