Interleukin-3 (IL-39) is a newly discovered member of the IL-12 family consisting of two subunits, IL-23p19 and EBV-induced gene 3. It is mainly produced by LPS-stimulated B cells and activated GL7 ~ + B cells in lupus mice. IL-23R / gp130 is its receptor, which activates signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1) in lupus mice ) / STAT3 signaling pathway mediates inflammation. Therefore, in-depth study of the structure, signaling pathways and biological functions of IL-39 is of great value for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus and other autoimmune diseases.
