在英语学习中,记忆单词对于众多英语学习者来说是最难过的一关,直接影响学习者的语言理解水平。猜词策略可以帮助学习者根据上下文挖掘出生僻词的意思,在一定程度上缓解了学习者词汇量不足带来的苦恼,进一步树立学习的信心。不过这一策略的有效运用需要合适的条件,学习者词汇量、词汇本身特点、学习者个人特点和学习环境都是影响因素,结合这些因素讨论该策略在我国学习者中的使用现状,并给出在教学与研究中有效运用该策略的相关建议,以期进一步提高英语教学效率和教学质量。
In English learning, remembering words is the most difficult aspect for many English learners and directly affects the language understanding level of learners. Guessing word strategy can help learners to explore the meaning of birthless words according to context, to a certain extent ease the distress caused by the lack of vocabulary learners, and further establish the confidence of learning. However, the effective use of this strategy requires appropriate conditions. The learner’s vocabulary, vocabulary characteristics, learner’s personal characteristics, and learning environment are all influencing factors. The combination of these factors is used to discuss the current situation of the use of this strategy among learners in China. The relevant suggestions for the effective use of this strategy in teaching and research are to be made in order to further improve the efficiency of English teaching and the quality of teaching.
