在玉米种子的萌发期、苗期以及全生育期调查了玉米五大杂种优势群的抗旱性表现,同时对全生育期的抗旱性与其它指标进行了分析。结果表明,玉米的抗旱性与群的划分没有直接联系,在以后的杂种优势群的划分时应当适当考虑种质的抗旱性;玉米全生育期的抗旱性与胚芽长和胚芽干重的关系最为密切,是玉米种子萌发期抗旱性的指示指标;玉米苗期的抗旱性代表指标是反复干旱后的成活率。在筛选玉米自交系时,应注重选用胚芽长和胚芽干重高的材料。
