With the rapid development of microsurgery and the continuous improvement of intraocular lens technology, posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation has become a routine method for the treatment of traumatic cataract. We carried out modern cataract extraction and posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation in 52 traumatic cataract from February 1992 to June 1996.
