本文的目的是想概述自1964年至今约18年来有关墨西哥斑岩铜矿的野外工作、钾—氩年龄测定法的成果和结论,以及铷-锶同位素研究的成果.研究的课题为“墨西哥共和国成矿区矿化年代的测定”.本文发表了41个矿山和有价值的勘探基地的资料.在这些地区,铜为主要有用组分与次火山(浅成的)岩系伴生.各矿区出现有不同类型的浅成侵入体或角砾岩筒.矿化作用呈浸染型、网脉型、角砾充填型、交代型、矽卡岩型、伟晶岩型、平卧层状矿体型以及裂隙脉型出现.
The purpose of this paper is to outline the results and conclusions of the potassium-argon dating and the results of the rubidium-strontium isotope study of field work on porphyry copper deposits in Mexico since about 1964.
