Objective To understand the impact of the tunnel environment on medical treatment and to explore effective protective measures to provide a basis for the smooth development of medical treatment in the tunnel. Methods The temperature and humidity in the tunnel were measured at four points before entering the tunnel by spring (March), summer (June), autumn (September) and winter (December). In autumn, 126 health workers and some migrant and wounded members entered the tunnel for medical treatment exercises. Results Before the stationed, the average temperature in the tunnel was 9.5 ℃ and the humidity was 33.9%. After entering the tunnel average temperature of 10.6 ℃, humidity 76.5%. Low temperature and humidity environment for medical treatment adverse to take effective protective measures after the operation smoothly. Conclusions The temperature of the tunnel is low before entering the station. After being stationed, the human body is in a low-temperature and high-humidity environment, which causes imbalance of thermal energy between the human body and the environment and adversely affects the human body. Effective measures for medical treatment are necessary.
