Every railway employee knows what the consequences of overheating the motorcycle’s axlebox components can be. All-Russian Railway Transport Science Institute and bearing manufacturing plant experts have developed a polyamide (nylon) cage with a new type of bearing. In non-lubricated non-normal conditions, nylon materials have much longer working hours than brass parts. The article describes the benefits of this new axlebox assembly.
