泥石流是危害人民群众生命财产安全的自然灾害类型之一,运用遥感技术解译地表信息是一种既方便又准确的方法,因此利用遥感技术对典型泥石流迹地进行综合遥感解译是一种安全有效的泥石流信息获取手段。以Landsat8影像为数据源,通过对东川小江流域典型沟谷泥石流——大白泥河流域建立遥感解译标志,分区段进行迹地信息提取并统计数量特征,再对地表覆盖信息进行统计分析,从而全面地掌握泥石流的发育特征。最终解译出物源区段滑坡体面积175.32hm~2,流通区段滑坡体面积98.81hm~2,堆积区段堆积扇面积138.88hm~2。
