此画原绘于甘肃敦煌莫高窟第328窟东壁北侧,是西夏统治敦煌初期在盛唐洞窟抹壁重绘的部分壁画。本期封面彩照系根据段文杰研究员的临摹图(局部)拍摄。画中形象是北宋敦煌曹氏政权末期至西夏早期流行的大身供养(或称赴会)菩萨。画中人物面部较长,鼻梁挺直,表情肃穆沉静,较讲究身材的匀称,在静态的描绘中注重内心的刻画,已与盛唐风格有较明显的区别。其衣冠服饰朴素端庄,线描流畅,细而不腻,繁而不乱,色彩明丽
This painting was originally painted on the north side of the east wall of the 328th Cave of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Gansu Province. It is a part of the mural paintings repainted in the Tang dynasty caves in the early Tang Dynasty of Xixia. The cover of this issue was taken according to the copy of the researcher Duan Wenjie (partial). The image in the painting is the body of the big body (or called to go to the meeting) Bodhisattva who was popular in the early period of the Tsang Regime in Dunhuang in the Northern Song Dynasty. The characters face longer, nose straight, solemn silence, pay more attention to the symmetry of the body, pay attention to the inner portrayal of the static description, has a more significant difference with the style of the Tang Dynasty.
