现在中东的海湾地区有许多结构要么已达其设计寿命,要么是因为没有按规格建造。拆除或维修这些结构产生了大量的混凝土废料。如果回收利用这些混凝土废料将节省宝贵的垃圾填埋空间和节约自然资源。研究显示由再生粗骨料混凝土的韧性和坚固程度的损失比例比自然状态下的混凝土大,但仍然在可接受的范围内。再生混凝土的压缩和劈裂强度取决于粗骨料的混合比例。一般来说,再生混凝土的强度比常规混凝土降低10%~25%。
There are now many structures in the Gulf of the Middle East that either have reached their design life or are not built to specifications. Dismantling or repairing these structures creates a large amount of concrete waste. Recycling these concrete wastes will save valuable landfill space and conserve natural resources. Studies have shown that the loss of toughness and firmness of recycled coarse aggregate concrete is greater than that of natural concrete but still within acceptable limits. The compressive and splitting strength of recycled concrete depends on the mixing ratio of the coarse aggregate. In general, the strength of recycled concrete 10% to 25% lower than conventional concrete.
