The history and current status of robots Almost everyone in our civilized society now knows the word “robot.” The first man to appear was Thales, a bronze giant in Greek mythology of ancient Cretaceous times. Since ancient times, robots have always been what people imagine. It was not long ago that the word “robot” was used for the first time. This is a play by the Czech playwright Karel Chapek in 1920 with the name “Rosamund Universal Robot Company.” Robot is a new word from Robota , Meaning service or serf). Therefore, a robot is an artificial person who can work for and replace people. During this period of time, the first automaton was started from Heron in about 100 BC, and various kinds of automatic bodies came forth continuously. Of all these existing automatons, three are most prestigious and are still marveling at the History Museum on Lake Neuchatel in Switzerland. These robots were made in the middle of the eighteenth century. They played the organ and wrote complete sentences and drawings, just like living people.
