苏薯2号的生物产量、经济产量分别比对照品种徐薯18高15.0%和24.7%,经济系数比徐薯18高8.8%.苏薯2号栽后发根返苗快、结薯早,前中期茎叶生长旺盛,干物质积累在生长的前90天明显快于徐薯18,但生长后期则不明显.苏薯2号叶片厚,平均叶质重为28.6mg/cm~2,比徐薯18高8.3%,净同化率和光合强度分别比徐薯18高14.6%和19.4%,属高光合强度型品种.
