目的:探讨鼻咽癌组织中EB病毒基因BHRF1的存在和表达与癌细胞分化及其患者预后间的关系。方法:利用斑点杂交技术检测鼻咽未分化癌、低分化及高分化鳞癌中BHRF1的存在和表达情况,并且观察患者对放疗的效果。结果:BHRF1的存在与表达与鼻咽癌的分化无关,但其表达可导致癌细胞对辐射敏感性的下降(P<0.01)。结论:BHRF1在鼻咽癌细胞中的表达可增强其抵抗辐射诱发细胞凋亡的能力,这在鼻咽癌诊断、治疗和预后判断上具有重要意义。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the presence and expression of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) gene BHRF1 and the differentiation of cancer cells and the prognosis of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: Dot blot hybridization was used to detect the presence and expression of BHRF1 in undifferentiated and well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the nasopharynx. The effect of radiotherapy was also observed. Results: The presence and expression of BHRF1 had no relation with the differentiation of NPC, but the expression of BHRF1 led to the decrease of radiosensitivity of cancer cells (P <0.01). Conclusion: The expression of BHRF1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells can enhance its ability to resist radiation-induced apoptosis, which is of great significance in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of NPC.
